FLORA
FUTURA
How
will the relationship between human and nature develope in the age of
mixed reality and automatisation? How will we perceive nature in the
digital age? Will it change our human habits and connection to
nature?
In
the time of climate change and biodiversity crisis we need to remind
ourselves to our position in the natural world. With the dawn of the
digital age and automatisation we need a new construct(definition) of
nature, by including technology to its term.
FloraFutura
creates a space for changing one's perspective towards nature. A
space that turns the human from the anthropocentric to an ecocentric
worldview and encourages individuals to preserve and respect nature,
where nature, technology, and the individual are merging and
interacting together. FloraFutura aims to create space for
encouraging natural developments and raising the urgent needs of
environmental awareness. A physical manifestation of ecocentric
values, needs, and aspirations.
This space should gather the Humboldts of today and tomorrow - whose activities contribute to the fields of ecology, global change, fight against established social rules and conventions. The ‘Greta generation’ urges nature as it was, they demonstrate, argue and fight for the climate. They live from the idea of an idealized construct of nature - they are the “new romantics”. As they will be the next generation of environmental scientists, engineers, NGO’s leaders, environmental lawyers, ecotourists and local farmers and gardeners, we can assume that they will shape the future of how we will perceive nature and our environment.
The botanical garden should develop from just preserving the plant biodiversity to creating a conversation between nature, technology, and human.
Hydroponics and robotics maintain the flora by taking care of characteristics as water supply, ph-levels, light and nutritional provision, coded and controlled by measuring systems. The spectators‘ multisensory perception is stimulated by visual, acoustic, olfactory and mechanic characteristics and is in direct biotic interaction with the plants through the exchange of oxygen and CO². The plants by themselves communicate with each other through chemical, hormonal signals, carbons, nitrogen, phosphorus, and water.

Eden is a mental rehab institute in 2059.
In a world, where we as humanity depend on digital argumentation and medical treatment improves health and expands our lifes spans to the limits.
We disolve into data and suffer under our addiction of mixed realities. Our bodies deterioate under the lack of a natural environment. Many of us undergo a nature disficit disorders.
Our relationship with the computer influences the cognitive processes in the brain. We
communicate with the machine language, the way of thinking and the decision-making processes, reflects the computerization of our personalities.
Eden is a hybrid of biological argumentation and physical activation to counteract our disordered minds.

Data jungle.
Data jungle
In the heart of the digital domain,
Where data streams like a vibrant vein,
There lies a jungle, wild and grand,
A realm of bytes, an electronic land.
In the Data Jungle, where circuits twine,
Plants of code with branches entwine.
Binary blooms in radiant hues,
Each bit a petal, a choice to choose.
The trees are servers, reaching high,
Their roots in algorithms, touching the sky.
Information vines in a complex dance,
Weaving tales of a virtual trance.
Flowers of encryption, secrets they keep,
Guardians of data in slumber deep.
A symphony of ones and zeros hum,
Nature's code, a digital drum.
The sunlight filters through clouds of code,
Creating patterns on the virtual road.
Streams of data like rivers flow,
In the Data Jungle, where dreams grow.
Creatures of logic, byte-sized and wise,
With silicon hearts and circuitry eyes.
They roam the jungle with purpose clear,
In the realm where algorithms steer.
Amidst the foliage of pixelated leaves,
A harmony of data, the jungle conceives.
Life in binary, a digital spin,
In the Data Jungle, where worlds begin.
So let us journey to this land unseen,
In the heart of circuits, where bytes convene.
The Data Jungle, where life takes root,
A realm of wonder, in cyberspace, afoot.

OPER IN DREI AKTEN VON GIUSEPPE VERDI, TEXT VON ANTONIO SOMMA NACH EUGÈNE SCRIBES DRAMA „GUSTAVE III. OU LE BAL MASQUÉ“
3 Stunden ÜBER DAS STÜCK „God have mercy on the man who doubts what he’s sure of.“ Bruce Springsteen
